If Brown Eggs Are Local Eggs….

...and local eggs are fresh, then what is it when it is two toned. I just came in from collecting today's eggs. We collect eggs every day. A Busy Weekend

Tomorrow is the big Easter Egg Hunt at the Effingham Public Library. I am baking cupcakes and bringing the apple juice. Oh, and of course the eggs. White eggs, green eggs, and brown eggs. April Showers Bring May Flowers

The showers may bring flowers, but it doesn't help for getting much outdoor work done around here. It's cold, and damp and no fun to do anything outdoors. Oh My, Another Rooster

Back in September, we ordered 25 New Hampshire Reds. For ordering 25 chickens we got a "free rare exotic bird". The rare exotic happened to be an Araucana, also known as a South American Rumpless.
