Back in September, we ordered 25 New Hampshire Reds. For ordering 25 chickens we got a “free rare exotic bird”. The rare exotic happened to be an Araucana, also known as a South American Rumpless. We were hoping the Araucana would be a hen so we would get one more green a day to grace our egg basket. We now have discovered this new “hen” is actually a rooster. Continue reading
